Hehe. Agreed.

Also, I would just LOVE a modern-style HW remake. Keep the original sound and storyline (pacing included), and rework the graphics to a much higher quality.

I think if Relic resold Homeworld this way, and with updated multiplayer, it'd probably do pretty well. :)

Oh the pacing too. I guess not everyone can agree on that one :D The game was often criticized for its "pacing" that too much waiting for anything, but I guess that's when you relax and take look around :) Modern 3D technology can render skin and hair, given that fact, HW style graphic should not be a problem for most computers, I mean most who knew that game existed should already own a decent PC.

I don't think its the story, HW was famous for its atmosphere. Not like anything you exuberance in conventional scifi.
